Privacy officials looking into reports Bell, Telus, Rogers shared Canadians’ location data

Privacy officials in Canada plan to look into reports over the past week that three of the country's telecom giants are sharing location data on subscribers with third-parties, which in at least one case have allowed similar data on Americans to be accessed by police without a warrant.
